Wojnar’s Wiener Leckerbissen Delikatessenerzeugung GmbH is an Austrian food producer.
The company was founded in 1930 by Josef Wojnar in Vienna-Hernals as a food wholesaler and manufacturer of Liptauer. Today Wojnar produces more than 100 different products, mainly spreads, salads and sandwiches, which are sold to the retail trade, gastronomy and catering companies. The company, which is still run as a family business, employs 400 people. In 2000, the company moved to the 23rd district of Liesing.
In Germany, the company supplies Aldi Süd with sandwiches.
Wojnar invented the so-called Wiener Gabelbissen, which consists of a jelly-coated mixture of vegetables, eggs, fish and mayonnaise in a cup.
