USS Barracuda

Four United States Navy ships were named USS Barracuda, after the barracuda, a species of predatory fish:

  • USS Barracuda (SP-23)
  • USS Barracuda (SP-845), a patrol boat, in service from 1917 to 1919
  • USS Barracuda (SS-163), a submarine, in service from 1924 to 1945
  • USS Barracuda (SSK-1), the type ship of the Barracuda class, in service from 1951 to 1973
