Cantho University

Cần University Thơ (vietn.: Trường Đại học Cần Thơ, engl.: Can Tho University) is a university in the city of Cần Thơ, the largest city in the Mekong Delta region. It is a multidisciplinary university and one of the leading universities in the Mekong Delta region. It is also one of the most important universities in Vietnam. According to the founding decision in 1966, the university was formed from six colleges located in Cần Thơ. The city’s educational, medical, art history, general and agricultural universities were united.
