The ufra – Unterfrankenschau Schweinfurt is a biennial consumer fair for Lower Franconia in Schweinfurt. The first event was in 1975. ufra has been held for a long time in the even years and in annual alternation with the Mainfranken-Messe in Würzburg. The organizer is Sandner GmbH Messen + Ausstellungen in Schweinfurt
The ufra will also be held in its usual size in the Corona year 2020 from 26 September to 4 October, subject to hygiene requirements.
Location and approach
The ufra will take place at the Volksfestplatz on Niederwerrner Straße in the Musikerviertel next to the Willy Sachs Stadium
Access from the direction of Würzburg is via the A 7, A 70 and A 71 to junction no. 30 Schweinfurt-West and then on via the B 303. From the direction of Fulda via the A 7 to junction no. 98 Wasserlosen and then also on via the B 303. From the direction of Erfurt via the A 71 also to Schweinfurt-West and from the direction of Bamberg via the A 70 to junction no. 7 Schweinfurt-Zentrum and then initially via the B 286 and finally in the direction of the stadium.
Free shuttle buses run every 15 minutes from two signposted “Park & Ride” sites behind the Willy Sachs Stadium and in the Am Hainig industrial estate. Bus and train passengers will receive a discount on presentation of their ticket at the ticket office.
The exhibition grounds cover 30,000 m². With over 400 exhibitors in 22 temporary halls and on an open-air site and with 70,000 visitors, ufra is one of the largest regional trade fairs in Franconia. It is both a sales and exhibition fair. One third of the exhibitors come from the Main-Rhön region, two thirds from the rest of Germany and neighbouring countries.
Ufra’s range of products and services covers the areas of construction, renovation, energy and the environment, living and furnishing, gardening, leisure, sport, wellness, health, fashion and arts and crafts.
There will also be exhibition stands with news from the region and a supporting programme with a show stage.
