The 5th Tour de Suisse took place from 31 July to 7 August 1937. The cycling tour was held in eight stages over a distance of 1468 kilometres.

The overall winner was Karl Litschi, who thus became the first Swiss to win the Tour in his own country. The Tour started in Zurich with 61 riders, 33 of whom finished on the last day – also in Zurich.
