Thomas Bosmel (born 18 April 1988 in Caen) is a French football goalkeeper.
Career
Bosmel joined SM Caen’s reserve team in 2008 and made one appearance for the fourth division side in his first season. He was promoted to the professional squad in 2009 but continued to play in the second team, for whom he featured more regularly from then on. In the first team, he was only the third goalkeeper behind Alexis Thébaux and Damien Perquis. With both Thébaux and Perquis out through injury, Bosmel still managed to make his first-team debut on 12 March 2011, albeit in a 2-0 defeat to AS Nancy. He also kept goal for the next two games, but was unused for the 2011/12 season, which ended with relegation to the second division. He was promoted again in 2014, although he was not directly involved.
Following the successful promotion, the goalkeeper turned his back on Caen and signed for second division side AC Arles-Avignon. There too, however, he failed to develop into a regular goalkeeper and, moreover, suffered a fall into the third division in 2015. His contract was then terminated and he did not find a new club for the time being.[1][2][3][4]
