The News of the World Darts Championship 1963 (officially: “News of the World” Individual Darts Championship of England and Wales) was a darts tournament which was played for the first time on 27. April 1963 in the London Alexandra Palace (“Ally Pally”) and was sponsored by the tabloid News of the World. It was the 16th edition of the tournament as national championship. Eligible were the eight winners of the regional championships of the 1962/63 season which took place in England (Eastern Counties, Lancashire & Cheshire, London & Home Counties, Midland Counties, North of England, Western Counties and Yorkshire) and in Wales.

Tournament winner was North of England Regional Champion Robbie Rumney (Waterloo Hotel, Darlington) who defeated Welsh Regional Champion Bill Harding (Globe Hotel, Aberdare) in the final.[1][2]
