Miraj (Marathi:

Miraj [

ˈmirʌdʒ]) is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in Sangli district in southern Maharashtra. Together with Sangli, Miraj forms the twin city of Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad with a population of around 500,000.

The history of Miraj can be traced back to the 10th century. the city is known for Indian classical music. During the British colonial period, Miraj was the capital of the princely state of Miraj.
