Ludwig Granier
Ludwig Friedrich Theodor Granier (also Louis Frédéric Théodore Granier) (* 11 July 1808 in Treptow/Rega; † 3 March 1857 in Frankfurt (Oder)) was a German judge and politician.
Garnier was the son of the royal paymaster of war Louis Guillaume Granier and his wife Catharnine Agnes Sergel. He was a Protestant Reformed and married to a née Tirpitz.
Granier studied law and was an assessor at the Glogau Higher Regional Court from 1838 and in Fraustadt in 1839. There he was later criminal judge and from 1843 judicial councilor. In 1846 he became regional and municipal court director in Grünberg.
In 1850 he was a member of the People’s House of the Erfurt Union Parliament. From 1852 to 1857 he was a member of the 2nd Prussian Chamber.
