Frigyes Mezei (German Friedrich Wiesner; born 26 September 1887 in Mór; † 27 March 1938 in Budapest) was a Hungarian sprinter.
At the 1908 London Olympics he was eliminated in the heats of the 100 m and 200 m events. In the Olympic relay he won the bronze medal with the Hungarian team consisting of Pál Simon, Mezei, József Nagy and Ödön Bodor.
In 1912 he reached the semi-finals in the 200 m and 400 m at the Olympic Games in Stockholm. In the 4 times 400 m relay he was eliminated with the Hungarian team in the preliminary round.
In 1910 he was Hungarian champion over 220 yards, in 1910, 1913 and 1914 over 440 yards.
