Chiesa del Gesù (Genoa)

Chiesa del Gesù
The Chiesa del Gesù (also Chiesa del Gesù e dei Santi Ambrogio e Andrea) is a church in Genoa. It was built towards the end of the 16th century over a former Jesuit church. The church itself, with Piazza Matteotti in front of it, is located in the immediate vicinity of Piazza De Ferrari and thus in the centre of the city.
The interior of the church is decorated with two paintings by the Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens.
