沧浪区, PinyinCānglàng Qū) was an urban district in the east of the People’s Republic of China. It was part of the administrative area of the county-level city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. It had an area of 25 km² and a population of 330,000 (2004). In August 2012, it was dissolved and merged with two other Suzhou municipalities to form the new Gusu Municipality (姑苏区).
