Argaios (Makedonien)

Argaios(ancient Greek Ἀργαῖος) was the son of Perdiccas and became king of Macedonia after him. He ruled at the end of the 7th century BC.

According to the ancient lists of kings, he reigned 38 years; according to Diodorus, 31. Junianus Justinus reports that he ruled judiciously and thus won the affection of his subjects. He was succeeded by his son Philip.
