Ardeer is a district of the Australian city of Melbourne. It is located 16 km west of the city centre. In 2016, Ardeer had a population of 3103.[1]

The development of the Ardeer district began with the opening of the post office in 1953. The post office was closed again in 1979.

Kororoit Creek runs through the district.
