Alumu-Tesu is a platoid language from the Niger-Congo language family, spoken by about 7,000 inhabitants of Nassarawa State in Nigeria.
The name of the language derives from the two dialects it has, namely Alumu (also known as Arum) and Tesu, which differ only in intonation. Alumu is mostly the preferred standard dialect.[1] The language, with other languages, forms the Plateau languages within the Platoid languages.
